FAQ

Urinary Incontinence

The objective of this treatment is to eliminate the involuntary loss of urine as a result of day-to-day activities such as coughing, laughing, lifting of heavy objects or exercising.

The laser thermally affects the vaginal tissue and stimulates the production of collagen which contributes to the strengthening of the anterior vaginal wall and subsequent remodelling of the urethral region. This is a pain-free procedure that allows for an immediate return to work and social activities, and is compatible with other treatments.

FAQ

Vaginal Rejuvenation (Hyperlaxity)

The loss of firmness of the vaginal walls that may occur after childbirth can seriously affect the sexual life of the patient and spouse, and at the same time can result in the prolapsing of neighbouring organs such as the bladder and rectum. Localised thermal treatment promotes the synthesis of collagen which tightens the vaginal canal, restoring tone and elasticity.

The laser also promotes the neogenesis of collagen.

Vaginal Dryness

A condition associated with the hormonal changes as a result of menopause, the use of contraceptives and other medication or treatments used in cancer therapy (radiation, chemotherapy).

Due to a loss of tissue elasticity, the vagina becomes narrower and it becomes difficult to have sexual relations. The laser treatment promotes the neogenesis of collagen thereby improving hydration and elasticity.
