Combined treatment

Combined Treatment

One of the gynaecological techniques used to bio-regenerate and rejuvenate the vaginal area is the re-injection of enriched plasma and growth factors into the body.

The growth factors stimulate the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, essential components for maintaining the structure of the tissues in a woman’s intimate area.

After the enriched plasma is injected into the vaginal mucosa, both lubrication and the sensation of pleasure during sexual intercourse are enhanced.

In general, between one and three sessions a year are necessary to guarantee satisfactory results.

PRP injections

By nourishing the vaginal mucous membranes and hydrating the area, sexual intercourse is generally improved. A sample of the patient’s blood is drawn and centrifuged to separate platelets, plasma and red blood cells. The enriched plasma is then re-injected into the upper walls of the vagina in one 20-minute treatment session. One maintenance session per year is subsequently recommended.

Hyaluronic acid injections

Hyaluronic acid, applied via micro-injections, also helps to relieve vaginal dryness, caused by oestrogen deficiency and hormonal changes that often occur with menopause. This therapy achieves satisfactory and long-lasting results for at least 9 months. A series of maintenance injections will be required.

Laser

The main advantage of laser treatment in the vaginal area is that it can strengthen the urinary structure, preventing incontinence and vaginal laxity.
